Recovius Aftercare: Productive Employees

Healthcare professionals have seen a rise in domestice violence, addiction, anxiety and depression. People recovering from addictions have limited resources and growing frustrations, increasing the risk of relapse.

Most companies purchase counseling programs like EAPs (Employee Assistance Programs) for their employees to keep them healthy. 


EAPs provide free counseling for employees. In most cases, these counseling programs cover the family members of their employee too, since family members have shown to have a direct impact on the employees' prductivity. Initial EAP studies found that emloyees impaired by substance dependency and addiction work at 67% of their potential. Human Resource professionals know this often contributes to low levels of absenteeism and presenteeism.
