Steve Davis knows the art of recovery.
As Chief Executive Operator for NEW DAY CENTER, part of the Adventist Health System's Midwest Region in the Chicagoland area, Davis was responsible for all day-to-day operations for over fifteen years. He was accountable for planning, organizing and directing drug and alcohol rehabilitation operations to ensure quality care and financial integrity. He was responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, as well as policies and procedures set forth by the governing board, medical staff and the Joint Commission. Davis took personal accountability for all operations, while directing the efforts of staff and management.
As Chief Executive Operator, Davis oversaw and gathered data on New Day Center’s innovative Two Year Aftercare Program. The success of this program was phenomenal. Statistical data collected from people completing the two year program showed a 97% success rate. Yes, data collected showed that 97% of patients maintained sobriety after completing the two year aftercare program at New Day Center. This means they stayed clean and sober for more than a year after their date of discharge. This statistical data was essential in the creation of the Recovius Two Year Aftercare Program, featuring "Tess."
Davis is currently a healthcare strategist working in Northern California, in a leadership role, having provided consulting services to healthcare facilities, throughout the United States.
